The Ultimate Bush Disaster

Wall Street Journal Op-Ed:
"Barack Obama's constant complaint that the nation's problems are all George W. Bush's fault has grown tiresome. But today even many Republicans may wonder if Mr. Obama has a point. In a presidency marked by an explosion of federal spending culminating in gigantic taxpayer bailouts, Mr. Bush's additions to the Supreme Court represented his one unmitigated triumph. Until (yesterday)."

Opinion:
One of our readers has first hand experience with government-run health care and said so in a comment on our post titled UK kills off 130,000 elderly every  per year.

He said,

"Experience teaches... here in the UK we have thresholds of care available to us under the State system. 0 - 40 years, best available. People are growing up, breeding, and being productive.
40 - 50, a reduced care package, less work, and even less breeding, but they're spending well.
50 - 60, another reduction, we're producing less and contributing less, and we're spending less.
60 + , Just migrate, because there's little care available. Proof? Our Prime Minister last week announced that if one could prove beyond question a lesser degree of care and attention by the National Health Service was available due to age, then we may sue the NHS! Fine! But don't expect a doctor to touch you after the law suit has been instituted."
Thanks, Richard.
